HUTCHISON PORTS ACHIEVES REMARKABLE EMISSION REDUCTION

  • HUTCHISON PORTS

Hutchison Ports achieved an 8.5 percent reduction in carbon intensity, reaching 9.72 kg CO₂e per TEU and falling below the 10 kg CO₂e per TEU threshold for the first time. Diesel consumption per TEU also decreased by 7.4 percent compared to 2024, attributed to the ongoing equipment electrification programme, increased utilisation of renewable energy, and improved operational efficiency. The group remains firmly committed to attaining the SBTi Net-Zero target by 2050 and continues to prioritise additional emissions reductions.
