STRATEGIC COOPERATION AGREEMENT BOOSTS GBA RAIL-SEA EXPRESS SERVICE

  • HUTCHISON PORTS HIT
  • HUTCHISON PORTS YANTIAN

On 28 May, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Chengdu International Railway Port Investment Development Co., Ltd., YANTIAN and HIT at the launch of the 'Chengdu-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Rail-Sea Service'.

The Chengdu–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Strategic Cooperation Agreement promotes the latest development of the rail-sea corridor in the Sichuan region and lays a solid foundation for integration between the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

This milestone signifies the integration of the Chengdu-Chongqing region into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao GBA and offers Chengdu’s foreign trade enterprises a more stable and efficient export route. These initiatives efficiently increase cargo volumes, foster stronger economic ties, expedite the movement of inland cargo to international markets and collectively enhance the overall international competitiveness of the GBA.
